My client is looking for an Engineering/Maintenance Procurement Officer/Procurement Lead to join their successful food business. They are a market leading manufacturing business with 2000 employees across multiple states. Excellent career progression opportunities.

**The role**:

- Timely execution of daily purchasing requirements (Requisitions, Purchase Orders etc. for Maintenance Operations & Capital Works)
- Daily summary of Purchase requisitions Pending Approved and Released.
- Responsible for timely payment of invoices to suppliers.
- Weekly, Monthly, Annual budget of forecasting for Committed to Spend & Goods Received/Goods Issued spreadsheets & graphs.
- Manage weekly cycle count adherence on high moving items with the Stores Team
- Responsible for identifying cost savings in goods supply, contractor costs, and identifying opportunities for savings with tighter stock control.

**You will need**:

- High level of computer literacy
- Previous experience in management of budgets and stock control
- Previous experience in managing inventory, purchasing and budgets within an MRP system
- Desired - Previous experience with SAP a big advantage
- Desired - Previous experience of leadership within a small team
