Part Time or Jobshare opportunities available - Flexible working is embedded in the way we work Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S program in Sydney Water's Southern Region. D4C is a consortium of Servicestream, John Holland, Comdain Infrastructure and WSP. Over a 10-year period, D4C will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people in the Southern Region of Sydney as well as create pathways to enter the water industry. We have identified an exciting opportunity for a community engagement advisor to join our project supporting the D4C team and working closely with our Sydney Water team to help communicate our vision with our people. This roles aim will be to deliver and implement communication and engagement strategies to promote our brand, protect our reputation, manage issues and deliver successful programs all while fostering a collaborative team environment between D4C and Sydney Water. **Key responsibilities**: - Develop, deliver and implement communication and engagement strategies to promote the brand, protect reputation, manage issues and deliver successful programs. - Build and maintain effective and influential relationships with community and external stakeholders. - Ensure the development and implementation of communication policies, programs and systems and monitor their effectiveness. - Respond to escalate complaints and enquiries and feedback from a variety of channels, and oversee complaint response by partners. - Coordinate and organise community engagement events. This includes coordinating logistics across various locations, preparation of run sheets, presentations and speaker notes. **Essential Requirements**: - Degree qualifications in a communications, journalism, marketing, research, community relations or related discipline or relevant experience. - Experience with modern communication and engagement techniques and social media tools. - Current driver's License D4C commits to delivering water for our customers, to protect Sydney's iconic way of life and leave a legacy for future generations.
