The Domestic Violence Action Centre (Toowoomba) is searching for a dynamic and compassionate Team Leader to join our Leadership Team.

Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming the lives of victim-survivors impacted by domestic and family violence? As a Team Leader, you'll hold a pivotal role in driving excellence and service delivery for our Specialist Counsellors and Men’s Behaviour Intervention specialists.

In this dynamic position, you'll provide supervision and support in line with DVAC's PASE Supervision Framework. Your responsibilities will include overseeing service development and delivery, reporting, and practice development to ensure alignment with Queensland government service standards for the delivery of domestic and sexual violence support services.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you'll establish robust partnerships with various agencies to ensure our clients have seamless access to vital resources and services. Your ability to navigate complex situations with finesse, alongside your strong administrative and organisational skills, will be essential to your success.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in the human services field.
- Proven experience and skills in leadership and management of staff.
- Well-developed experience and skills in counselling and therapeutic support.
- Experience and skills in gender-based violence risk assessment, trauma informed practice, safety planning, crisis support and system advocacy.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates high ethical standards and integrity in all working relationships.
- Ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner and to escalate as appropriate.
- Current driver’s licence and Blue Card.
- All DVAC staff are required to complete a National Police Check upon successful offer of position.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Outline your interest in the role and the experience will bring to the role.
- Outline your extensive skills and experience in providing high quality, collaborative leadership, supervision and mentoring to specialist counsellors and men’s behaviour intervention workers.
- Describe how you develop capacity within a team to build positive and effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, and what specific skills do you contribute to this process.
- Outline your knowledge of administrative functions within a team (e.g. computer skills, data management, reporting, verbal, and written skills) and how do you contribute to such functions.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year
