McLean care has an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Team Leader to join our Home and Community Care division in Toowoomba on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

**Role**

The Service Delivery Team Leader is an integral role within Home and Community Services and will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to deliver optimal services, identify business improvements and broadly support with the engagement and retention strategies of Home Care Employees.

The Service Delivery Team Leader will ensure that day to day service support is conducted effectively to meet the needs of our clients. With a focus towards the people management and engagement you will actively support, mentor and develop motivated team members.

The position is a diverse role and will see you build effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with budgets and standards of service delivery in Home & Community Care. You will also assist with the development of effective rostering and administrative policies and procedures to ensure delivery of safe, high quality effective care and services, as required from time to time.

**Essential Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor people and teams to achieve goals and meet targets.
- Demonstrated ability to seek out and effectively utilise new knowledge as it relates to service provision.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workloads of self and others according to changing needs.
- Sound computer literacy including Microsoft Office Skills.
- A sound understanding of Home Care and Aged Care Sector including legislative and funding guidelines.
- Knowledge and understanding of Consumer Direct Care and person-centered care.
- Knowledge and experience working with clients with complex care needs, disabilities, or serious injuries.

**Qualifications**
- Current unrestricted Driver’s License and own insured/registered vehicle.
- Certificate III Individual Support.
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
