An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Manager to join a dynamic team at Brandbank.

Reporting to the Sourcing & Sustainability Manager, this role will be responsible for identifying and managing product and factory compliance risks as well as establishing and implementing, quality, technical and compliant strategies.

**THE ROLE**:

- Lead, support and guide senior management on the development and implementation of compliance goals, strategies, policies, and practices
- Assess future ventures for the Group to identify possible product compliance risks
- Establish and leverage 3rd party partnerships to improve internal due diligence
- Manage all aspects of quality assurance, safety, compliance, to ensure that all products comply with our brand, legal, quality, safety, and end customer quality requirements to ensure best practice in compliance control
- Manage the implementation of new polices relating to product compliance, safety, audits, and packaging with Brandbank team and suppliers
- Manage factory inspections for new and existing suppliers.
- Communicate as required with new and existing suppliers Brandbank’s quality, technical and compliant strategies, and standards

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in product, process management or operations
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in similar role in garment industry
- Excellent understanding of the operations of a buying office
- Prior experience in entire garment development process from sourcing to production
- Excellent negotiations skills
- Strategic business development skills
- People development/supervisory experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel/Word & Computer skills
