**The Company**

**The Position**

We are seeking an innovative and results-driven General Manager to join the team in Sydney. This pivotal role will collaborate closely with the Managing Director to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans that align with the business objectives and drive profitability for the Sydney operations. The General Manager will be instrumental in overseeing day-to-day operations, optimising efficiencies, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope. Additionally, this role will uphold high standards of safety and quality control across all aspects of their operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Alignment**: Work closely with the Managing Director to translate business strategies into operational plans that support the company’s growth objectives and achieve P&L targets.
- **Operational Excellence**: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies, implementing strategies to optimise operational performance and maximise profitability.
- **Project Management**: Lead and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- **Leadership and Accountability**: Provide strong leadership to the operations team, holding them accountable for performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- **Safety and Quality Assurance**: Maintain rigorous standards for safety and quality control, implementing measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- **Stakeholder Management**: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, and clients to maintain positive relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a senior operational management role within the roofing industry or related construction sectors.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and deliver results.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve high performance.
- Trade qualification relating to Roofing.
