**How will I help?**

Reporting to the Head of Business Monitoring within the Chief Operating Office (COO) of the Risk Function, the Executive Manager, Business Monitoring is a generalist Line 1 Risk position with a focus on compliance to policy (as well other root cause analysis and targeted reviews).

Key responsibilities include:

- Monitoring and reporting of applicable frameworks, policies, standards, processes and controls
- Providing seamless responses to the Westpac Group CRO leadership team and all stakeholders within Risk for the COO where required
- Providing risk expertise, thought leadership and insight - highlighting risk, process and control improvement opportunities
- Performing deep dive reviews to provide deep analysis on a targeted risk area, providing insights on heightened risk areas and/or trends that can be pervasive to the function

**What do I need?**

A strong applicant will be an established EM with extensive risk management experience gained in the financial services sector. We are open to a variety of backgrounds including Line 1 or Line 2 risk/compliance, Line 2 Assurance, Line 3 Audit or professional services (provided you have a clients in Financial Services).

You will have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills and be able to influence and appropriately challenge stakeholders across the Risk Division. You will also have demonstrable experience in analysing and drawing insights from information
