**About the Role**:
As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in ensuring stakeholders across the group have the necessary systems to comply, manage and improve against our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Climate Change disclosures, metrics, and commitments. This is an exciting new role and reflects BHPs social value priorities.

Flexible work options are available. We anticipate some learning on the job.

The Product Owner creates and owns the product development and operational roadmap for their digital product(s) and defines and translates the vision in alignment with the Sustainability and Climate team. They build close relationships to ensure alignment with the overall strategy.

As such, the Product Owner has accountability for the success of the product and the value it delivers. As a successful Product Owner, you will:

- Work hand in hand with stakeholders from across the group to deliver the product vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders.
- Be accountable for building and managing the wellbeing of the product team
- Keep end user experience front of mind ensuring customer driven design.

**About You**:

- Experienced in guiding agile way of working including ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, and removing blockers
- Familiar with guiding Angular and Python developers
- Strong communication & problem solving ability
- Experimental mindset to drive innovation
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
