**Theatre Administration Clerk**

**Permanent Part Time**

**12 Hours per Week (2 days)**

**About the Role**

The successful applicants will support the Theatre and Front Office Departments in the provision of high-level administrative services. The key tasks within this position will include:

- Collecting and Co-ordinating Interim Theatre lists from Surgeon’s rooms
- Liaising with Theatre Staff and Front Office Staff
- Scheduling patients into Patient Management System (Meditech)
- Updating Theatre Lists and information in Meditech
- Leave coverage of Theatre Reception Role
- Support and demonstrate The Ramsay Way

**About you**

To succeed in this role, you will have a professional and proactive approach and a commitment to ensuring the administrative function across both departments is effective and efficient.

**Essential**:

- Previous Hospital Administration experience is essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Intermediate-advanced computer skills utilising the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy

**You will also have the following**:

- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Willingness to learn and the ability to grasp concepts with ease
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently as required
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to coordinate processes and efficiencies across the departments
- Collaborative and positive team member
- As part of this job share position, the successful applicants will require flexibility, as a part of this role will include leave coverage for other staff members
