Are you a motivated and passionate Administrator looking to step into a rewarding career opportunity?

We are searching for a part time administrator to work in our **Operating Theatres.** You will work 35 hours/week between the hours of 7.00am and 7.00pm across the 5 day work week, ensuring coverage and support for our doctors and nursing staff. _This is a pivotal role for the team within the theatre complex_

Our administrators provide outstanding customer care to patients and their families. This is a great role for experienced and patient care focused individuals who are wanting to achieve work-life balance and a dynamic career in Healthcare.

As a Theatre Administrator your responsibilities will include:

- providing patient-centred customer service
- greet all customers
- handle enquires with a friendly and professional manner
- maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records
- undertaking general administration duties
- liaison with other areas of the hospital
- management of patient electronic records ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.

Essential Criteria:

- experience in an acute patient focused healthcare facility/hospital,
- highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments,
- good computer literacy & sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel),
- a track record of providing great service and customer experience,
- strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills,
- ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.

**About Northern Beaches Hospital**
Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD. The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. Providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including Surgery, a 50 bed Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients.
NBH has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards.
