**Leading role in Catholic education**
- ** Regional base in Warragul, Victoria**
- ** Enhance opportunities for every student**
**About the organisation**
The governing organisation Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) supports over 3000 staff and 19,500 students located in 38 primary schools and seven secondary schools in metropolitan, regional and rural areas across southeast Victoria. DOSCEL seeks to deliver the highest quality educational opportunities and outcomes for every student in every school in the diocese. With the highly regarded Chief Executive Officer retiring at the end of this year, the DOSCEL Board now seeks an outstanding CEO to lead the organisation through their next phase.
**About the role**
One of four CEOs of Catholic Education across Victoria, the CEO incorporates the role of the Director of Catholic Education. Working collaboratively with the Bishop of Sale and the DOSCEL Board and supported by a highly skilled executive team, the CEO provides leadership in the areas of faith, education, governance, and operations. The CEO plays a key role supporting Principals in leading and managing their schools to provide high quality learning, teaching, and enhancement of Catholic ethos and identity. The CEO is responsible for accountability structures, compliance with regulatory requirements and representing DOSCEL within the broader Catholic system, with education authorities, and across the community.
**About you**
You are a dynamic leader with significant executive experience ideally gained in education, management or school settings of scale. Enthused by change and the chance to enact the DOSCEL vision, you communicate with confidence, collaborate and consult towards shared solutions, adapting your style to draw out strengths in others. Active in the Catholic faith and with an appreciation of synodality, you are energised by the opportunity to lead DOSCEL in contemporary Catholic education, across a large, geographically diverse part of Victoria.
