As a Support Coordinator, you will assist your portfolio of NDIS participants in accessing supports, building their capacity, and achieving their goals. Building rapport and fostering relationships will come naturally to you, as will building, and leveraging networks to ensure the best support for your customers.
A typical day in the life of a Support Coordinator may involve setting up service agreements, preparing plan reviews, conducting risk assessments, attending care team meetings, and critically, providing support should issues arise. You will have freedom when planning your day, with a focus of providing support to your customers, naturally leading you to meet your support hour targets.
The best part? Experience working in disability is not a prerequisite for this role A background in industries such as teaching, finance, case management, insurance, legal, retail and hospitality will stand you in good stead for being a successful Support Coordinator. You will be empathetic, resilient, have great time management skills and want to work in a people-focused culture.
Upon commencement you will receive 2 weeks of focused, industry leading training to set you up for success. Post training, you will have regular coaching sessions with your Team Leader, access to Senior Support Coordinators for additional guidance and a supportive team environment that thrives off your development.
Please note that this is a Hybrid Working Arrangement (2 days in the office and 3 days working from home).

What you will bring to the role:
- A track record of success meeting productivity and activity targets
- Proven experience in Portfolio Management
- A passion for, and extensive experience with administrative tasks
- Strong Stakeholder Management
- Experience in a KPI-driven environment
- High work ethic and resilience
- A current and valid Australian driver’s license and well-maintained vehicle that meets current safety standards with fully comprehensive car insurance.
- An NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Dependent on the role the appropriate Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People check as per State/Territory legislation will also be required.
