The Opportunity
Are you an experienced and passionate Urgent Care Registered Nurse? We invite you to join our prestigious Royal Park Urgent Care Service as a full-time or part-time team leader. In this pivotal role, you'll provide leadership and operational management to a team of Nurses, ensuring the highest standard of patient care. In this role, you will work closely with the Practice Manager to maintain the efficiency of the Urgent Care Service while training and mentoring clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
As a core member of our Urgent Care team, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments to efficiently triage patients.
- Provide leadership and effective management to a team of nurses
- Taking decisive actions for patients requiring emergency attention or experiencing health deterioration.
- Coach, train, and mentor the team so that they can deliver the best clinical outcomes to all patients
- Flourishing in the dynamic Urgent Care environment, showcasing adaptability.
- Collaboratively delivering top-tier, patient-centered care, aligning with medical practitioners, and involving patients, families, and carers.
- Championing patients' desired clinical outcomes.
- Providing essential health education to patients as needed.
- Ensuring meticulous and timely completion of all documentation.
**To excel in this role, you'll possess**:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse.
- A minimum of 1 year's prior triage experience, ideally in an emergency department.
- Preferred experience of 5 years or more.
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, paired with keen critical thinking abilities.
- Adeptness in autonomous work and judicious delegation.
- An affinity for interpersonal interactions, reflecting your genuine passion for people.
