**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join EPA's Environmental Audit team, reporting to the Team Leader Environmental Audit, you will be responsible for providing specialist technical advice to internal and external stakeholders on the environmental audit system, landfills, contaminated land and management of pollution from industrial sources. You will also be responsible for managing the appointment, re‑appointment and discipline of auditors, the maintenance of auditor guidance and assisting with developing strategies and policies to enhance the audit program.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of Victoria's independent environmental auditor framework with an understanding of the Environmental Protection Act 2017.
- Proven experience in identifying quality assurance issues and implementing system improvements.
- Relevant industry and other professional qualifications (e.g degree in environmental science/engineering, industry experience in landfills or contaminated land remediation, quality management and control).
- Proven ability to work as a team member, developing and sustaining enduring relationships to achieve required outcomes.
- Have excellent professional written and verbal communication
- Hold strong stakeholder management skills
