**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a creative and highly motivated Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team as we develop marketing campaigns to increase Rapid Global’s brand awareness, generate leads and improve the customer journey
This position offers a great opportunity for the right individual to make a difference and stamp their mark.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Developing and implementing successful communications strategies to enhance brand and image of the organisation both nationally and internationally
- Communications and stakeholder engagement across a range of areas including development media releases, news articles, case studies, eBooks, technical guides, and industry award entries
- Managing media enquiries, securing media coverage and building relations with media contacts
- Produce a variety of written content in both print and online formats, targeting a wide range of stakeholders, and supporting marketing projects and campaigns
- Produce blogs, scripts and presentations for external and internal use
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to deliver communications and PR campaigns
- Other duties as required
- Lead development of internal communications strategies, working closely with Rapid’s People & Culture team to support and enhance Rapid’s ability to recruit and retain talent, and continuously improve internal communications
- An understanding of, and take an active role in crisis communications
**To be successful, you'll have**:
- Tertiary degree in communications, media or marketing
- Minimum 2 years B2B communications experience, ideally in the technology industry
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and writing media releases
- Skilled in handling media enquiries, securing media coverage and building positive relationships with media and industry influences
- Self-motivated, able to prioritise delivery of workload, manage tight deadlines with minimum supervision
- A good understanding of the importance of legal and regulatory frameworks
- The ability to work within our core business hours Monday to Friday on a permanent full-time or part-time basis (0.6 - 0.8FTE)
