We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our Technology team as our Head of Business Applications & Data based at our Cremorne Office, Melbourne. This fantastic opportunity is perfect for a strategic and organised team player with a background in Applications, Data and Integrations.
About the Role
**Your key responsibilities will include the following**:

- Strategic Leadership
- Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders ensuring outcomes align with key business objectives
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to drive operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and enhance customer experience.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within their teams.
- Team Management
- Mentor and coach team members to maximize their potential and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Establish clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and recognize and reward outstanding contributions.
- Application Development and Management
- Partnering with third party vendors, oversee the product development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Data Management and Analytics
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing, reporting and analytics solutions
- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights and analytics.
- Establish and enforce robust data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Integration
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions to connect disparate systems and data sources.
- Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems.
- Monitor integration processes and troubleshoot issues to maintain system stability.

To be successful you will ideally have the following skills and experience:

- Demonstrated experience in the retail industry
- Strong stakeholder management and team engagement capability
- Exceptional communication skills across all business facets and with partners/vendors
- Ability to align key stakeholders and influence business outcomes
- Ability to identify, allocate and monitor performance of team members to successfully deliver outcomes to agreed timeframes
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail culture
- The role does require flexibility to accommodate technology deployments outside of hours
