The role

As the People Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in delivering the people agenda across a collection of the Country Road Group brands. Reporting to the Head of People, you will partner with leaders across our brands Support Centre functions to deliver the people strategy, while maximising the capability of our people and teams. This dynamic role includes leading on major change and transformation projects, coaching of business leaders, collaborating with the wider people team and building strong relationships across the business to provide solution-orientated outcomes.

Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit a resilient, highly adaptable and collaborative individual who thrives in change orientated environments.

Key responsibilities
- Partner closely with our Support Centre leadership teams to shape and execute the people strategy
- Lead conversations around talent management, succession planning and team engagement
- Lead and contribute to key strategic projects across the corporate and wider People Teams
- Facilitate and lead projects relating to organizational change and transformation
- Mix the commercial objectives with the needs of our people to create an engaging team experience
- Provide ongoing coaching, training and support to senior leaders
- Experience working in effective HR Business Partnering roles
- A customer and people experience centric approach
- An ability to influence via strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders including executive teams
- Ability to collaborate with HR COE’s to deliver HR strategies
- Exposure to org design principles and wider project/change management capability
- Coach and mentor leaders regarding people processes and initiatives
- Strong communication skills
- Degree qualification and experience within a fasted paced retail environment are ideal but not essential
