**About the Role**
**This is a fixed term part-time STS role (0.8 FTE)**
Join our team as a Geo-Spatial Solutions Lead within the Mobility and Insights Division In this role, you will play a crucial part by providing architectural guidance and expertise in geo-spatial solution design to the Department. This position offers a unique opportunity to showcase your proficiency in geo-spatial and solution architecture while overseeing projects from initiation to completion.
Your role also involves defining and implementing the geo-spatial strategy for the SCRAF project in coordination with other geospatial teams. A fundamental aspect of this position is serving as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and teams, utilizing your expertise to foster effective communication and collaboration across diverse groups.

**Qualifications and role specific requirements**
**Mandatory**
- Bachelors level qualification in computer science, engineering, information systems or similar.
- Three years or more demonstrable experience as a Spatial Solution Architect, including delivery of solution architecture design documents in an enterprise environment
- Extensive experience in designing, delivering and developing geo spatial solutions in an enterprise environment
- Demonstrated experience between 2-5 years in solution design and delivery with the cloud (AWS primarily and Azure), on-premises, or hybrid implementation including relevant hands-on experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the Data Science, Data Management, Data Warehousing and/or Data Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting and articulating solutions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience developing seamless integrated solutions using Esri ArcGIS Pro and Online (Workforce, Field Maps, Survey 123, Experience Builder, Arcade, Portal API, Feature Services, GeoDatabases), GIS, SQL, Python, JavaScript, Microsoft Azure (Cloud, Logic Apps), DataBricks (PySpark)
- Demonstration experience with solution design with API and Integration projects with demonstrable successful outcomes
**Desirable**
- Experience with AutoCAD, CAD, Qgis, and Geo Database software and systems.
- Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF), Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) and/or SCRUM certifications would be highly regarded
- Previous hands on development experience with some of the following:.NET, Java/ JEE, Mulesoft, Spring Boot, PHP, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, SAML, NodeJS and other API related technologies
