- Just Digital People are working with a high-end women's fashion brand in Melbourne to find their next Ecommerce Trading Manager. The position has come available due to a promotion in the team (always positive).
- We are seeking a talented individual who will play a crucial role in driving online sales and maximising profitability through effective management of our ecommerce platform. As your consultant, I am here to guide you through this dynamic role that requires a deep understanding of ecommerce trends, strong analytical skills, and a passion for fashion and technology.**Benefits**

Trading Performance Optimisation:
- Analyse and monitor website performance, identifying opportunities for improvement in areas such as traffic, conversion rates, and revenue.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales, average order value (AOV), and customer retention.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting regular competitor analysis and market research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and drive optimal results.
Product Merchandising and Assortment Planning:
- Collaborate closely with the merchandising team to curate and optimise product assortments on the website.
- Implement effective visual merchandising strategies, including product categorisation, navigation, and presentation.
- Utilise data-driven insights to identify high-demand products and optimise inventory management.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilise web analytics tools and analytical dashboards to measure and report on ecommerce performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Generate regular reports on key metrics, KPIs, and trading performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Communicate performance trends, opportunities, and strategic recommendations through executive-level summaries and presentations.
- Provide daily reports on key metrics, KPIs, and trading performance during sale periods.
Team Leadership:
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to all members of the digital team.
- Offer expert advice and solutions to ensure the team operates at a high level of productivity.
- Provide continuous feedback to support the growth of team members.
- Implement automated processes to reduce risk and drive efficiency within the team.
**Qualifications/Experience**
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ecommerce trading, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Proficient in using ecommerce platforms and content management systems (CMS).
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels and their impact on ecommerce performance.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Creative problem-solving mindset and ability to think strategically while executing tactical initiatives.
- Passion for fashion, understanding of current trends, and ability to translate them into ecommerce strategies.
- Proven experience in management with the ability to offer guidance and mentorship.
- Strong adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong reporting and Microsoft Office skills.
