We currently have an opportunity for a **Test Lead **to join our team. The role of Test Lead is to provide specialist capability for the designing, planning, and executing of test cases, identifying and tracking of defects, and ensuring the software meets the business requirements driven from either project or business as usual tasks.

This role will perform software testing of an inhouse developed system within the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit.

**What you’ll do**

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

- Work closely with Downer Management (IT Application Portfolio Manager & IT Application Service Managers/Leads) to determine the testing approach and testing deliverable outcomes.
- Manage and QA the delivery of in scope requirements.
- Work with the IT & business stakeholders to determine key business needs / requirements and ensure appropriate options are considered.Identify and report Key Constraints, Assumptions, Risks, Dependencies, and Issues derived from project/business requirements.

**What you’ll bring**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business / IT or equivalent.
- Experience operating in Information Technology and business/industry work experience.
- Strong experience working for medium to large, complex projects.
- Extensive functional and non-functional testing experience.
- Experienced in performing manual and/or automated testing using industry standard testing tools.Experienced in all forms testing - integration, end-to-end, performance, regression, system, smoke and user acceptance testing.
