Test Lead

Our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Lead to join our Melbourne Team. You will work on the Mirvac Next Program. Mirvac Next is a business transformation program and a key enabler of our 2026 Vision to become future-fit. The program is delivering new processes enabled by a modern enterprise-wide technology platform and a single source of truth for data across projects, assets, financials, documentation, and approvals - providing greater oversight and deeper insights for our business. Developing end to end Project Test Plans, identifying test efforts, resourcing needs for different phases of testing, identifying risks and prepare mitigation plans and help in minimizing defects.

This is a 12 Month Fixed-Term Full-Time contract.

**Your duties include but are not limited to**:
Leads a project by providing innovative ways of testing and techniques, and strategic focus on improving testing team capabilities.
Deliver test plans in large complex programs covering all disciplines of testing including functional, system integration, automation, performance, security and end to end testing.
Manage and prioritise work allocation to team members and maintain a proactive resource management system along with Test Manager
Accountable for day-to-day test progress reports, defect triage, Summary and Sign
- off reports.
Engage business and technology stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic focus on showcasing the value of testing to internal teams, for example through reporting on test metrics and continual improvement of test development methodologies.
Identify need for test automation, look at where efficiencies can be made using automation and implement Automation framework.
Build Test Reports, Dashboards using JIRA and Zephyr.
Jump in to help with any hands-on testing from time to time.
Collaborate with internal or external team members to plan all applicable test phases to ensure that applicable test phases are successfully completed and documented and there is a plan for problem resolution.
Unblock the team by resolving issues, point of escalation for the team.
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Consistently applies Mirvac’s Policies and Digital Operating Model to ensure quality releases in all environments

Your point of difference

You will have moderate experience as a Test Lead leading and managing multiple projects ensuring an overarching test approach with varying priorities.

**You will have knowledge of**:
BI reporting (financial reports, SlaesForce, CRM platform and SharePoint)
Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid models of software delivery methodologies
Integration testing, API tests, SIT, UAT, E2E testing
IT Testing & SDLC with shift-left approach mindset
Automation tools (Selenium / Appium Test Framework)
Java / VB scripting

Strong communication and problem-solving skills with an ability to run analysis of issues/bugs is highly regarded. Finally, you will have an ability to think strategically, adapt to change, deal with ambiguity and complexity.
