**Your new role**
As the Communications Lead, you will be leading the development and transformation of a major internal communications project that will strategically and effectively effect various stakeholders. You will be leading strategic communications plans and content for various collateral including annual reports, incident reporting, messaging and briefings for stakeholders and various campaign content. You’ll be supporting the media relations of the organisation, responsible for managing proactive and reactive media strategy and responses, enquiries, issues and incident management. You will be required to rotate on a media response roster, 1 in every 5 weeks

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Prior experience in a similar role in a large complex or service provider organisation with be highly regarded
- Proven experience developing and delivering communications strategies
- High level written communications skills for various communications collateral
- Experience in influencing and negotiating with a range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience with media relations
- Proven ability to reactively respond to media enquiries
- Issues and incidents management in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Full Australian Working Rights
