**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team as a Resident Services Manager at Nellie Melba Retirement Village**in Wheelers Hill, Victoria.**This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday, 0830 - 1630. Flexibility is a must, as part of the role you're required to be on call.

At Ryman, our Resident Services Manager wears many hats; leading with kindness and clarity, this role is a key player in our multi-disciplinary village leadership team. Whilst working closely with the Village Manager, Clinical Manager and Facilities Manager, in this role you will:

- Lead the effective delivery of the Village service functions which includes our kitchen, housekeeping, laundry and administration teams
- Have oversight for all risk management and health and safety related processes for the village
- Be responsible for Human Resource tasks within the village including inductions, recruitment, training, performance reviews and payroll assistance
- Actively managing the roster for Auxiliary teams ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained
- Provide leadership at the Village in the absence of the Village Manager

- Place a high emphasis on customer service and work hard to deliver exceptional service to our residents
- Be an outstanding communicator that is both professional and empathetic
