**As our Executive Support Officer, you will**:

- Support the day-to-day operations of the Executive Services Unit by providing a range of high-level confidential, accurate and efficient administrative support services which may include word processing, correspondence tracking and handling, travel arrangements, diary management, database administration and use of other modern office systems.
- Co-ordinate executive correspondence, including confidential briefs and submissions and distribute and monitor responses for the Ministers and Director-General to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Assist with the co-ordination of presentations, agendas and briefs for high-level meetings, as required.
- Plan and organise logístical arrangements for senior executive business meetings, for example teleconferences, venues, catering and equipment.
- Assist with projects as required by the Manager, Executive Services Unit or the Director, Office of the Director-General.
- Consult with senior executives and other departmental staff on behalf of the Manager, Executive Services in relation to business group activities.
- Liaise constructively with team members, senior executives, Ministerial office staff and external visitors.
- Contribute to the effective management and continuous improvement of executive correspondence processes and procedures, and the department's electronic document and records management system, as it relates to executive correspondence.
- Participate as an active member of the Executive Services Unit and the broader Office of the Director-General team by contributing ideas and supporting other team members including training new staff.
