Governance Officer

- **Hourly pay rate of $64 + Super.**:
- **Hybrid work arrangement (2 days WFH + Parramatta office).**
**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
As a part of your role, you will support the implementation and management of the suite of ethics, compliance, and risk management policies, strategies, and governance processes.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Promote a culture of effective governance by delivering training and other learning resources aimed at improving knowledge and assisting managers and staff with ethical conduct and risk management.
- Review and process internal reports, allegations, and related disclosures, including undertaking investigations, review and assessing public interest disclosures.
- Maintain, analyse, record governance information and data and prepare management reports, including reports on compliance and fraud and corruption issues.
- Undertake reviews, draft, and maintain the suite of ethics, compliance, risk management and other governance policies and procedures.
- Support the delivery of the enterprise risk management framework and the internal audit function, including maintaining risk registers and providing advice on fraud and corruption risks.
- Provide secretariat support, including preparation of agendas, minutes and the coordination and quality review of papers.
**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, industry certifications and/or equivalent experience in delivery of corporate governance, compliance, risk management and investigations.
