APG is currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer for a 7-Month contract within an Parramatta Government Sector.
- **Pay Rate: $48.00 p/h + super**

An exciting opportunity has become available within the Finance Shared Services branch secure an interesting role administering banking and cash flow activities across the cluster.

As Funds Officer, you will work within the high performing team responsible for monitoring banking information/accounts, processing disbursements, overseas telegraphic transfers, bank transfers, remittance advices and preparing cashflow forecasts.

The role is also responsible for administering all bank accounts and merchant facilities for the Department.

To be successful in this role, you will be a process-oriented person, motivated to actively support the team’s efforts to provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. You are confident in your ability to work autonomously to strict deadlines in a fast paced environment as well as being a member of a supportive and collaborative team. Excellent attention to detail and strong administration skills are a must in this role as well as maintaining high level of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive issues and information.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Proven experience and commitment to delivering quality customer service in a high-volume processing environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- A proactive attitude with regards to looking for process improvements
