**About the Role**
The Copywriter at WooliesX plays an integral role in helping us create content that inspires, educates our current and prospective customers, and improves our organic performance. You’ll be supporting the WooliesX Loyalty and Rewards creative department with high-touch storytelling experiences through a combination of below the line digital platforms for our ever-expanding group of partners.
Based in Surry Hills, you’ll be supporting the ‘Content Design’ chapter which forms part of the wider ‘Content’ agile principal chapter.
The chapter’s mission is to define and manage optimised, best-in-class, tailored content designed to support key customer missions across our owned and earned channels.
**Responsibilities**
- Participate fully within the Digital Media Operations and Commercialisation Creative Team, contributing to creating a respected and valued service to deliver highly customer-focused outcomes, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- Receive briefs from internal stakeholders, distil briefs to core consumer insight and work with the internal designers to deliver required creative output against a brief.
- Produce clear, compelling, and engaging copy for our channels, while also understanding the strategy and concept behind the work.
- Write all holistic content, including copy for brand identities, brand campaigns, digital experiences, social media content, activations and more, all while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Coordinate multiple campaigns and/or projects at one time and ensure editing quality control, deadlines and targets are met.
- Strong understanding of digital and social platforms as well as their use within marketing.
- Work in consultation and collaboration with all marketing servicing teams and designers to ensure creative solutions developed are of the highest quality.
- Lead and foster an environment of collaboration and inspiration.
**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or equivalent working experience
- 5+ years copywriting experience within an agency/in-house studio
- Excellent and diverse portfolio - compelling storyteller
- Strong editing and conceptual skills
- Ability to research topics, and effectively synthesise a variety of information sources
- Stellar collaborator - Demonstrated experience working with diverse and remote teams, ability to work with diverse teams and personality types
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to develop, translate and leverage strategic messages for marketing communications tactics
- Ability to aggregate and synthesise large volumes of information from different sources—technical, business, marketing, strategy, industry and more
- Strong client communication skills
- Ability to direct others on the content and creative execution
- Ability to confidently present creative ideas and concepts
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
