**CCS National Report Administration Team Overview**
The Court Children's Service (CCS) National Report Administration Team is comprised of National Report Administration Officers and a National Report Administration Team Leader and is overseen by the CCS Executive Officer.

The role of the National Report Administration Team is to undertake the administrative tasks required for the delivery of CCS report events undertaken by Court Child Experts and Regulation 7 Family Consultants. The Team will primarily undertake national duties, although there may be some local duties, such as the servicing of CCS registry counters, involved.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties of the position**
The key responsibilities and duties of the CCS National Report Administration Officer include:

- Undertaking the allocation of reports to Court Child Experts and Regulation 7 Family Consultants, using prescribed criteria.
- Scheduling and managing appointments for Court Child Experts and coordinating other arrangements as required (for example, arranging Interpreter Services, coordination of childcare bookings at Registry).
- Communicating with parties in a professional and sensitive manner, to facilitate attendance at CCS appointments
- Providing administrative support including preparing correspondence and managing the schedule of interviews and engagements in the Court databases
- Purchasing and accounts processing functions in accordance with the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997 and associated regulations and orders
- Maintaining accurate information within the Court & CCS IT systems
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with Court Child Experts, Regulation 7 Family Consultants, judge and registrar support staff, registry staff, the legal profession and parties
- Undertaking other CCS administration duties as required, which may include providing support directly to the CCS Director group.

**Selection Criteria**
- Strong communication (oral and written) and liaison skills as well as the ability to communicate with people at all levels. Be able to exercise tact and discretion, act impartially and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-level administrative support and commitment to excellence in service delivery.
- Demonstrated working knowledge or clearly demonstrated capability to quickly acquire a sound working knowledge, of court procedures, guidelines, policies and practice, and IT systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a geographically dispersed team with limited direction, and the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities and participate in collective work practices.
- Sound IT proficiency, including the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technology quickly and effectively.

**Eligibility**
- Australian citizenship - the successful applicant must hold Australian citizenship.
- Security and character clearance - the successful applicant must satisfy a Police Records Check and may also be required to complete security clearances during the course of their employment.
