This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to leading Australia’s clean energy transition, building the energy super-highways and enabling nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
Transgrid is delivering the Federal and State Government's vision for a clean energy future, building the transmission super-highway which will transform the energy supply for millions of Australians. New renewable generation is being built across the eastern seaboard and will connect to the grid to get that electricity to market.
Our major projects are a priority for Governments and for the nation. The integration of renewables will secure and strengthen the electricity network and enable greater sharing between NSW, ACT, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland.
Transgrid is reinforcing the transmission network in southern NSW with HumeLink - a new 500 kV transmission line project that will improve the flow of electricity between new generation sources and major demand centres in NSW.
HumeLink will provide a crucial hub for the flow of electricity in the National Electricity Market (NEM). The project will enable high volume energy transfer around the NEM improving access to affordable electricity.
The Community and Stakeholder Coordinators will provide engagement and communications support to assist in the delivery of stakeholder engagement activities on the HumeLink project and other Transgrid major infrastructure projects as required, helping to ensure community needs are heard and met and Transgrid’s social licence to operate is maintained.
