This company is a leading player in Sydney's Access & Material Handling Equipment Market. Their operation has been growing for well over a decade, and they proudly represent several high-quality equipment manufacturers in the construction machinery space. Based in Western Sydney the business is currently experiencing fantastic growth and are now looking to grow the team.

**Position**

An exciting opportunity now presents itself for a Workshop Manager to join the branch in Sydney's Western Suburbs. The role has the below responsibilities:

- Lead, manage and hold responsibility over the branches large service department
- Directly manage a team of approx. 10 staff including tradespeople and coordinators
- Promote the safe and efficient running of the workshop
- Schedule and liaise with technicians to attend field service calls
- Ensure a high standard of workmanship is being upheld
- Training new recruits
- Deal directly with clients and manage escalated issues
- Ensure the branch meets and exceeds service KPIs
- Provide technical and hands-on support to technicians when needed

Experience working with mobile plant such as telehandlers, ewp's, forklifts, agricultural, forestry, earthmoving, mining or truck/bus, although not necessary would be preferred.

Other important criteria include:

- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Background working within a dealership environment
- Strong communication and management skills
- The ability to work autonomously and to managements expectations
- Technical experience with machinery
- Reliable and trustworthy
