**Workshop Hand - Full Time & Part Time**

**About The Position**:
There is a full-time (5 days a week) or a part-time (3 days a week) position that requires manual loading/labouring capabilities. You will be responsible for sorting scrap metal material from local residents, clients, businesses and other various locations. You will be responsible for transporting scrap metal, including, driving forklifts, cutting materials, heavy lifting, customer service, and working with others. This position requires being able to work unsupervised and a part of a team when in the workshop.

We’re looking for highly motivated individuals with preferred but not essential demonstrated experience in a similar role. Successful applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and be willing to undertake and pass an alcohol and drug test as part of the pre-employment process.

**Skills & Experience**:

- HR Licence (Desirable, however not essential as you will be in the workshop)
- Forklift ticket (essential)
- C-Class Manual Licence
- Police Clearance
- Ability to perform manual tasks
- Knowledge of scrap metal processing (desirable)
- Knowledge of hand tools (desirable)
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to clear DRUG and ALCOHOL Screens
- Have the right to work in Australia (we accept visa workers)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Flexible hours
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
