**Your new company**
Our client is a large reputable telecommunications business; they are currently seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join their team. This position will be working on a large program of work for one of their financial services client.

**Your new role**
This role is responsible for leading a team responsible for tracking and reporting throughout the project lifecycle, from initial opportunity through to successful handover into business-as-usual operations, with a focus on meeting project commitments through strong teamwork and pragmatism. You are also responsible for:

- Lead a matrix-team of multi-talented people from across geographical locations, cultures and organisations, including vendors and customers
- Lead and own governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking and updating project deliverables with a focus on the pre-sales governance process
- Define and own the assurance review process
- Lead the preparation of consolidated material from project reports for regular review by key stakeholders
- Ensure key risks, issues and gaps in governance are appropriately escalated
- Enable data driven decision making from Project/Program reports
- Define and own an appropriate change control process across all projects in the portfolio
- Lead with building a repository of project templates, both technical and management to support the project managers

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience as a PMO Manager working in complex customer projects within the Telecommunications industry.
- Experience of a PMO environment and an understanding of RISK management and Change Control
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders
- A dynamic approach to leading matrix teams, with a drive towards team empowerment and self-sufficiency
- Experience of working in a highly matrixed, Agile organisation
- A keen interest in continuous improvement and digitisation
