Our client is a specialist electrical estimating and design consultancy firm delivering technical expertise to a broad range of clients including developers, builders and electrical contractors. Based from their offices in Brisbane's southern suburbs, this team of dedicated industry specialists support their clients from the initial design and cost estimate to the development of electrical solutions.

Due to the continued growth and success of this company, an opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Design / Draftsman to join their team.

**Opportunity**

This role will see you working closely with the Senior Electrical Engineer, with your key duties including:

- Create detailed concept design drawing packages for tenders
- Prepare electrical designs including plans, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams and electrical equipment lay outs
- Interpret plans, regulations and codes of practice to ensure design tasks meeting appropriate technical standards and client requirements
- Participate in design review meetings
- Maintain project drawings, documentation, and records in an accurate and organized manner to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all data
- Contribute to the engineering team product design and development
