**The Role**
The Assistant Director Business Processes and Analysis is a newly created role and will be based in Garrison Health headquarters. This position will involve working with business and technical teams for the elicitation and development of detailed requirement specifications. They will understand complex business requirements and ensure there is integration between business and technology, particularly EMIS.
They will engage with internal and external stakeholders to perform feasibility analysis, scope projects and work with staff to prioritise deliverables and solution functionalities. They will work within a team of clinical experts, analysing workflows and business processes, and suggesting innovations and improvements.
They will have experience in systems integration and performing gap analyses between e-health systems, identifying risks, and advising on solutions to overcome the risks. They will be accountable to take a systems approach when analysing the issues across the country.
The Assistant Director Business Processes and Analysis will have the capability to build and sustain effective and collaborative relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, and have well-developed communication skills both written and verbal. They will be required to lead a team, and provide expert advice and recommendations.
**About our Team**
Joint Health Command (JHC) is responsible for the delivery of military medicine and healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel. The Assistant Director Business Processes and Analysis will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team within Garrison Health Branch inside JHC headquarters.
The team is comprised of allied health professionals, medical professionals, and a business intelligence officer. The team is a mix of remote workers and Canberra-based staff. Garrison Health Branch has a close working relationship with other Branches within JHC, including a team of data scientists.
They will be analytical, with problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues. They will have experience in systems integration and performing gap analyses between e-health systems, identifying risks, and advising on solutions to overcome the risks.
