**The Role**
The Directorate of Performance Analytics and Reporting is seeking two team leaders to strengthen the data analytics and visualisation capability of the Service Delivery Division. The Assistant Director Analytics and Assistant Director Business Intelligence Reporting - are key management roles responsible for leading and administering the work of the data analytics and visualisation teams. To be successful in these roles you will have the ability to extract insights from both structured and unstructured data.
In particular you have the expertise to analyse complex business intelligence issues, examine large datasets to interpret data, undertake root cause analysis and create fit for purpose reporting visualisations such as performance dashboards. Experience in staff management, as well as good written and presentation skills will be highly regarded.
**About our Team**
The Directorate of Performance Analytics and Reporting provides the Service Delivery Division Senior Executive with Business Intelligence insights for performance evaluation and improvement and to inform strategic decision-making.
The Service Delivery Division’s multi-billion dollar program involves millions of transactions annually across more than 20 product lines delivered in partnership with multiple private sector providers. Key deliverables for the Directorate include Executive dashboards and reports focusing on priority areas, targeted performance analytics to measure progress and outcomes against key indicators and assessment of customer surveys to extract relevant insights.
Experience in or strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing will be well regarded. Your confident communication skills will allow you to clearly and fluently translate technical findings into actionable business performance goals suitable to present to senior audiences.
