**The Opportunity**
Mattel Australia & New Zealand are seeking a proactive and team-oriented Manager, ANZ Logistics, Customer Service and Compliance to join our Logistics team
**As a Manager, ANZ Logistics, Customer Service and Compliance**, you will be** responsible** for**:
- **Relationship and contract management of 3PL partners**
- Regularly visit Mattel’s 3PL run distribution centres (DCs), to review current performance and manage any issues with systems, people, inbound, order picking or outbound processes, etc
- Conduct regular KPI reviews with 3PLs to hold them accountable to contractual targets and agree pathways/steps to resolve
- This role is the bridge between the DCs, Transport partners and Mattel’s office based sales team in Melbourne and Auckland, so needs to calmly and efficiently handle all queries from Sales team
- ** Lead the Sales Admin (Customer Service) team**
- People management of a team of order processors based in multiple locations
- The team is responsible for executing orders that are a combination of EDI and manual ordering processes across all ANZ customers
- Orders need to be processed through the DCs in a timely manner, aligning with the agree schedule of order days and lead times
- Orders follow sales phasing, therefore have some higher volume period for catalogues and Xmas peak seasons phasing that needs to be planned and managed each year
- ** Project work**
- Project work such as tenders, DC moves or continuous improvement initiatives needs to be planned annually and worked on by this role, collaborating with General Management and internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Finance, IT and Commercial Teams
- ** Ensure that Mattel ANZ meets Compliance standards**
- This role is the point person for compliance requirements for all products ranged by Australia & NZ in order to support logistics, compliance, and commercial team queries
- Manage annual reporting for the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS)
- Support global sustainability team to Produce annual Australian Packaging Covenant report
- Ensure all safety incidents are reported to appropriate parties (both internal & external)
- Liaise with Mattel legal to manage recall requirements and ensure process is adhered to for Australia and New Zealand
- ** Ensure that Consumer Response team professionally answers all queries**
- Ensure that Consumer Response team answers all queries within agreed timings as well as handling market and customer communications for any product issues that arise
- Liaise with Mattel legal to manage recall requirements and ensure process is adhered to for Australia and New Zealand
- Exhibit 3 years or more experience:
- Leading Logistics / supply chain and customer service teams in ANZ markets
- Working with DCs and transportation carriers in a 3PL or company run operational models in ANZ
- Management of Logistics DC and Transport contracts, building successful relationships and holding 3PLs accountable to contract terms
- Working in ANZ Consumer products / similar industry company and leading or participating in the Compliance field
- Collaborating successfully with a wide range of stakeholders including Finance, Procurement, Demand Planning, IT and Commercial leadership
- Participating in projects that delivered successful change to Logistics, Customer Service or Compliance
