**Sales Manager at Hyatt Centric Melbourne**

Based on site in Melbourne CBD, the Sales Manager is a key and critical role within the Sales & Marketing team, responsible for proactive sales, maximizing total revenue potential for the hotel across MICE market segments and groups with a business focus on both retention and acquisition as well as;
- Prepare personalised submissions for all MICE & Event acquisitions and leads
- Actively cross-sell Hyatt Centric Melbourne’s facilities and other Hyatt properties
- Attend major travel and trade shows and corporate functions to promote the hotel
- Develop networks with relevant industry sources for site inspections and group leads

**Qualifications**:
**Your Background**:
To be successful in this role you will require the following attributes:

- Previous sales experience within hotels and accommodation / events
- Sound knowledge of the corporate and leisure marketing segments
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills and time management skills
- Confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
- Exceptional people management and interpersonal skills along with strong communication
