**Role Overview**:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced bookkeeper who will manage our financial processes and compliance. This part-time role will support both our B2B (retailers and wholesalers) and B2C (Shopify) operations. You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting our global e-commerce and retail operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Bookkeeping**:

- Maintain and reconcile accounts in Xero for B2B and B2C operations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and review financial reports for internal use.

**Compliance**:

- Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant tax and legal standards.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of BAS statements.
- Manage end-of-year financial processes, including preparation for audits.

**Financial Management**:

- Handle day-to-day financial inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Track and manage cash flow, expenses, and budgets.

**Key Requirements**:

- Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably within e-commerce or wholesale industries.
- Proficiency in Xero and experience reconciling accounts.
- Knowledge of BAS preparation and submission in Australia.
- Familiarity with Shopify financial systems is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

This is a part-time position with flexibility around working hours.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $50,706.10 - $86,397.57 per year

Expected hours: 10 per week

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- Xero: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
