The General Sir John Monash Foundation was established in 2001. The Foundation's purpose is to identify and nurture outstanding Scholars who are destined to be Australia's future leaders and who through their work address major challenges facing Australia and, in part, the world.

The Foundation is now seeking a **Media and Communications Manager** to project and amplify the organisation’s activities. As the Foundation celebrates 20 years of awarding scholarships, it is essential that this is communicated to the right audiences using the right platforms. The Media and Communications Manager will develop and implement strategies to maximise the effectiveness of all internal and external communication, while having direct involvement in collateral development and management of events, such as national and international symposia, an annual Oration by a leading Australian, Scholar presentation ceremonies, workshops, and special anniversaries. The appointee will improve the Foundation’s multi-channel storytelling and optimise the organisation’s website to ensure that it is a powerful portal that showcases activities and champions brand narratives.
