JobAccess is looking for a part-time (3 day pw) Media Communication Lead to drive an integrated marketing communications strategy for an award-winning national program promoting and supporting disability employment. This role can also be based in Sydney or Perth.

**Job Description**:
Requiring a hands-on, practical approach, it provides scope to work across a range of marketing communications activities and events, with a focus on media outreach targeting multiple audiences.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Identify media opportunities through real life stories of our program in action, evolving issues and special events.
- Develop content for dissemination via media releases, social media, websites, and other distribution channels.
- Pitching stories to mainstream and specialist media outlets
- Creating social media content

Your excellent writing skills and media relations experience, along with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, and a positive, can-do attitude will be key to success in this role.

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in communications/media or related (required).
- At least 8-10 years of work experience as a communications or media manager or similar.
- Demonstrable experience with building effective media campaigns.
- Ability to create appropriate content for dissemination via media releases, social media, websites, and other distribution channels.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Experience in employment services or the healthcare sector highly desirable
