Project Officer - NSW Government Department

**Your new company**

You'll be working for a NSW Government department based in Parramatta.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for:

- Recording and resolving day-to-day support issues related to existing digital business systems
- Tracking incidents and other support requests to their resolution in a timely manner
- Liaising with internal and external support providers
- Assisting on systems development projects with requirements gathering, testing and implementation planning
- Reporting and analysis of support metrics
- Assisting the transition of new initiatives to a production environment by participating in user acceptance testing and assisting with issue management
- Participating in programs of work that contribute to the sustainable support of business systems
- Undertaking data quality reviews and implementing data improvement initiatives.
- Developing and providing training and guidance to internal system users

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have demonstrated a strong understanding of reporting with experience in data analysis and you will have excellent communication skills. You will have experience in preparing test strategies, test plans and testing. Public Sector experience is desirable but not essential.

**What you'll get in return**

You will recieve a 6-month contract and you will be paid $440 per day + super.
