**About the Opportunity**
My client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Commercial Analyst to join their busy team in North Ryde on a permanent basis. You will be working in a team environment and reporting into the Finance Manager.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Perform weekly close and processing of results as required by audit terms.
- Analyse weekly performance and provide insights (actual vs budget and forecast) of business
- Analysis of operating performance and potential savings using actual, historical and forecasting methods.
- Support internal stakeholders to generate Budget/Forecast and financials.
- Review and maintain site standards.
- Monitor balance sheet accounts ensuring accuracy of financial records.
- Continuous improvement to bring process efficiencies.
- Assist in preparation of CAPEX Spend
- Ad hoc reporting and providing financial support to relevant projects.

**The successful applicant**:

- CA or CPA qualified or close to completion.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing background - this is a must have requirement.
- Proven business partnering skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and technology skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and complex business environment.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, takes ownership and looks to value add.
- An analytical and critical thinker, particularly in the context of problem solving.
