**About the Role**:
The role is responsible for managing Local, Wire Area and Wireless Networks to assist strategic warehouse project on a 12-month contract with a view to extend.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN and Wireless Networks.
- Network address management, structured cabling standards.
- IPv4/v6, TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, ARP, routing protocols.
- Support new network deployment projects.
- Communicate with network vendors and suppliers.
- Managing network monitor systems.
- Update networks documentation & training materials.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in the design & implementation of Cisco-based wireless networks.
- 11 standards, Cisco WLAN technologies and troubleshooting skills.
- Wireless simulation and onsite site survey.
- Exposure to Ekahau Site Survey tools
- Wireless (Prime, 9800 WLCs, 5500 WLC's, all variations of AP's)
- Understanding with other wireless product sets - Meraki, Aruba, Motorola, Cambium, Ruckus or similar
- Ability to use network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, or Cisco Prime
