**About the role**
Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. Our People & Culture team have an exciting permanent opportunity for an accomplished Employee Relations Manager to join us and lead the harmonisation and implementation of employment instruments for Australian Retirement Trust. Reporting to the Head of Employee Experience and Wellbeing, you’ll play a pivotal role across a range of exciting and ambitious initiatives relating to employee relations and wellbeing. In particular, you will:
- Drive Enterprise Agreement harmonisation, which includes leading a squad of HR professionals to deliver on project objectives, providing strategic advice, designing industrial agreements, and negotiating and deploying these across the organisation
- Actively explore contemporary thinking and seek continuous improvement by undertaking research to determine people best practices and current trends, and create best-in-class employee policies, procedures and frameworks
- Lead the team to deliver first-class employee relations support and advice relating to all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
This role is available as a permanent opportunity.
**About you**
If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, and credibility with Executives and Board members through collaborative engagement and facilitation, resulting in good outcomes for our members and people
- Extensive knowledge of Australian Industrial legal precedents, process, regulations and proven experience in leading Enterprise Agreement negotiations for medium to large organisations
- Demonstrated ability to manage external stakeholders including unions, utilising strong diplomacy skills to enable productive relationships
- Demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across an organisation including the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes at all levels of the organisation
- Highly developed contemporary knowledge of employment, work health and safety, employee experience, related legislation, policy and practices
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, or another related field.
