**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**
Due to exciting growth in the business, we are looking for an enthusiastic **Apparel & Footwear Category Specialist **to join our category team based in **Greystanes **to provide an exceptional level of service to all customers.
The Apparel & Footwear Category Specialist is responsible for actively supporting the Product Manager and or National Category & Sourcing Manager to develop, coordinate and implement strategic activities to deliver the right selection of products at the right price to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting category plan execution to drive market-share, revenue and profit growth
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve customer DIFOT and commercial outcomes
- As guided; lead, perform and drive designated activities, processes and functions
- Participate in negotiations, meetings and tender reviews with sales to ensure deals are effective and commercially sound
To be successful, you will have:
- Experience within a Category, Product or Marketing role managing internal and external stakeholders
- You are an adaptable individual highly developed in the areas of communication, innovation, commercial acumen and profitability
- Self-motivated and conscientious team player, you are a confident negotiator with the ability to analyse and solve complex problems
- Outstanding project and time management skills partnered with the exceptional ability to create and maintain strong working relationships
- Previous apparel or relevant experience highly regarded
