**How you'll make an impact**

Ensure that data is managed effectively across the Wrap Platforms business to support timely and effective decision making including supporting the Wrap Platforms business in implementation of data governance policies and procedures.

Main focus areas will include but not limited to:

- Focus of the role is to ensure that data is managed effectively across the Platforms business to support timely and effective decision making
- Support the Platforms business in implementation of data governance policies and procedures
- Develop and lead training on data governance roles and responsibilities
- Oversee data governance processes
- Work closely with data owners across the Platforms business to enhance understanding of key data sets, data lineage etc to optimise insights and reporting.
- Accountable for the completion of assigned deliverables with little day-to-day management.

**What you will bring to the team**

Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:

- 2+ years in a Data Governance role within Financial Services (preferably Wrap Platforms)
- 2+ years' relevant professional and/or supervisory experience, and industry/tertiary qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Applies broad understanding of a specialised discipline and basic understanding of other disciplines.
- Experienced understanding of own Sub-Division/Division; and broad understanding of the overall Group and its competitive environment.
- Sets and achieves operational targets, objectives or service standards with a short to medium term focus, that directly impact the results of a department.
- Applies emerging technical capability within own operational area/department
- Analyse both routine and varied issues of differing complexity and modifies working methods/processes in own job, sometimes without the benefit of defined procedures.
- Applies good problem-solving skills as scope of issues may be only vaguely defined or difficult.
- Ability to work cohesively with senior staff when dealing with complex issues or larger clients, prospects, projects, accounts, relationships
- Fairly autonomous day to day but require guidance on more complex issues
