RPR Trades are seeking a State Manager with Estimating experience for our client located in Mount Waverley. You will be working for a National wide operation that covers all aspects of the Electrical construction, Fit-outs, services and Maintenance Industry. Electrical Installations include schools, aged care facilities, office/retail fit outs, storage facilities and large warehouse's
**About The Role**:
- Permanent Full-time role
- Monday to Friday with some weekends included
- Located in Mount Waverley
**Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for**
- Overseeing the Business for the State of Victoria
- Ultimately responsible for delivering monthly and yearly budgets and sales revenue targets, in line with profitability parameters
- Experience in estimating, tendering, and securing projects
- Cultivate and maintain a high level of morale and comradery within the Business for a positive team environment where individual’s attitude, satisfaction, and confidence to enable them to achieve their positional requirements Self-Motivation with a great work ethic.
- Oversee and review performance management ensuring that appropriate plans are in place for managing succession, retention, talent, and career development for the Victorian Team.
**About you**:
- A Minimum 2 year’s experience in a General Manager or Director’s Position
- A Minimum 2 years’ experience in Commercial Project work
- Experience writing, negotiating and winning Tenders/Contract submissions
- Ability in estimation to price services for the purpose of writing a Tender/Contract
- Ability to excite, motivate and build rapport with a talented team of direct reports
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate both professionally and casually
- Ability to be able to work under pressure
