The Opportunity

Due to internal movements, our Health Services Talent Acquisition team is looking for a passionate, experienced, and energetic Talent Acquisition Partner to hire Optical professionals such as Optometrists, Store Managers and Optical Dispensers across a variety of locations around Australia.

You will join Bupa’s diverse and high performing team Health Services People team who support Bupa’s Optical business and government contracts with the Australian Defense Force and Department of Veterans Affairs. Based in the Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne city office when you’re not WFH, you will be responsible for the delivery of an exceptional ‘5 star’ end to end recruitment and selection service to mid and senior level managers. This is a permanent full time opportunity.

How will I help?

Key accountabilities include:

- Support leaders with HR inquiries where possible and triaging unknown queries to the relevant person or resource.
- Partner with and guide stakeholders and provide industry insights from initial intent to go to market, right through to offer, contract generation and onboarding.

What do I need?
- Significant and demonstrated experience in an internal recruitment role with a focus on hiring talent in multiple locations, ideally from a retail environment.
- Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience of behavioural based interviewing.
- Proven I.T conceptual ability; able to use databases in support of the recruitment process; identify, refine, and automate processes via technology wherever possible.
- A proven commercial focus and ability to understand the impact of recruitment issues on the business.
