Talent Acquisition Business Partner
Full-Time | Brisbane CBD | Leadership Role
At Bentleys Queensland, people are central to everything we do. As our Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you'll take a hands-on leadership role in delivering high-quality Talent Acquisition advice, projects, and operational support across our firm.
Working closely with our P&C Manager, Partners, and Managers, you'll help shape and deliver recruitment-focused initiatives as well as build the Bentleys brand with our networks and prospective candidates.
 
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Talent Partnering
  • Understand the firm's strategic objectives, service lines, and workforce planning needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on market trends, talent analytics, and acquisition strategies.
  • Partner with business leaders to forecast future talent needs and develop proactive recruitment pipelines.
  • Contribute to workforce planning discussions, providing intelligence on talent availability, competitor activity, and market dynamics.
Talent Acquisition & Market Positioning
  • Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent in highly competitive financial and professional services markets.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for senior and specialist roles, ensuring exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimise recruitment processes and improve time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire metrics.
  • Champion the firm's employer brand, ensuring all recruitment activities reflect its values and reputation for excellence.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with Partners, Directors, and senior stakeholders, influencing hiring decisions through data and market intelligence.
  • Provide timely, strategic feedback to stakeholders and candidates, reinforcing a high-touch, professional experience.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and professional associations.
  • Act as an ambassador for the firm at industry events, networking opportunities, and talent forums.
Risk & Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with employment and industrial relations (IR) legislation, internal policies, and ethical standards.
  • Review and drive recruitment related processes and policies, ensuring alignment to best practice in consultation with the P&C Manager and business leaders.
  • Proactively advise stakeholders on recruitment risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in managing sensitive and commercial information.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Coach and mentor junior recruitment team members, fostering capability development and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with P&C leadership to align recruitment strategies with broader People & Culture initiatives, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects focused on recruitment technology, process enhancement, and candidate engagement innovation.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the HR team and across the firm.

What We're Looking For
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Exposure to professional services or complex business environments.
  • Experience leading or mentoring others (formally or informally).
  • Solid understanding and use of Recruitment Systems, in particular Greenhouse, HiBob and LinkedIn
  • Excellent communication skills—able to influence and engage across all levels.
