**Your Impact**: Reporting to the Head of Insights, we are currently seeking an experienced Consumer Insights Manager to join our Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) Consumer Insights team. As a team over the last 12 months, we have helped develop and launch major innovation and core communication including the launch of VX, the first innovation for VB in over a decade, Vodka Cruiser Double which is on track to become one of the biggest NPDs in RTDs, re-launched Powers in QLD and Carlton Draught’s Long Live the Keg campaign. This year, we have an ambitious target to double our innovation pipeline from last year and are on track to do so. Come and join the team as we embark on an exciting growth agenda. **Key Accountabilities** - Strategic Partner & Trusted Advisor for the CUB Brand & Innovation Team_ - Act as the "voice of the consumer," proactively engaging with the CUB Brand, Innovation, and other support functions to understand key business needs. - Embed insights into the Innovation and brand planning processes, ensuring all business decisions are grounded in strong consumer understanding. - Regularly and proactively identify opportunity spaces for our categories and brands to consider, sharing and acting upon market/consumer knowledge within the business. - Lead and facilitate the insights generation process in partnership with the CUB Brand & Innovation team. - Independently manage end-to-end research projects, both qualitative and quantitative, ensuring clear findings and actionable recommendations. - Strengthen the innovation proposition by partnering with the Brand & Innovation team throughout the project, leveraging existing knowledge and judgment. - Demonstrate best practices in research planning and implementation, including challenging methods and creating new research approaches for better business outcomes. **About you**: You are ambitious, curious, and seeking a rewarding and impactful career that continuously challenges you. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering business-critical insights into consumer behaviour, informing concept design, and shaping go-to-market strategies throughout the innovation & brand planning cycle. Along with energy and passion to be the best, you bring: - At least 5 years of market research experience within a reputable research agency coupled with client-side research experience - Research experience within FMCG and/or Innovation preferable - Extensive knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, and ability to analyse various sources of data. - Research or commerce degree preferable - High degree of analytical ability - being able to integrate large volumes of data and information and produce simplified output that can effectively inform business objectives. - Problem solving capabilities - the ability to identify and understand the business issue and suggest relevant solutions - Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the business - Strong team player with ability to integrate within cross functional teams - Ability to work at pace, juggling multiple projects effectively and work through ambiguity. - Ability to develop and grow relationships across various levels and teams within the organisation **Why CUB?** You’re probably aware of Asahi Beverages recent acquisition of CUB which has resulted in one of the most impressive and expansive beverages portfolios in Australia.
